Tea plantations in fields high in the mountains provide the very best conditions for the production of the best teas. Therefore, the hilly region of Shizuoka is an exceptionally good area to grow quality teas. This sencha has striking emerald green, shiny leaves. It is hand-picked from the high-quality Saemedori variety, a variety that has become very popular in recent years, and is a cross between the famous Yabukita and Asatsuyu varieties. It has inherited its sweetness and color from the latter, and its balance and freshness from the former.

This exceptional sencha stimulates the senses with its mild fragrance from the leaves. Its brew is impeccably green and its flavor is deep and subtle. Full of sweetness, the drink gives a long and complex aftertaste, and the sweet notes gradually give way to tasty notes of sugar snap peas.
